Our tour representative will welcome you at the Dibrugarh Airport/railway station and then check in Hotel in Dibrugarh. Overnight at Dibrugarh.
Early breakfast and then move to Namphake village near Naharkatia town, 2 hours drive. It is the largest of the Tai-Phake villages in Assam, boasting 80 odd families, which trace their ancestry to the great Tai race and of Buddhist Religion. The Namphake Buddhist Monastery is one of the oldest and most respected Buddhist monasteries in Assam. The villagers live in ‘Chang Ghar’, bamboo and wood houses built on raised platforms and are mostly engaged in Agriculture. Evening drive to Margherita and check in at Singpho Cottage or Digboi Tourist Lodge or similar. Overnight
Visit Singpho Village, Tai-Phake Tribal Village and Tangsa Village. These all are nearby to each other’s and cover a half day. Afternoon, drive to Digboi. Attractions at Digboi: Attractions: The Centenary Oil Museum, World War II Cemetery etc.Drive to Dibru-Saikhowa NP and overnight stay.
The whole day in Dibru Saikhowa NP. Activities: Boating at Dibru River, Jungle walk, Bird watching and Gangetic Dolphin sighting. Evening comes back to the same hotel and overnight.
Transfer to Dibrugarh Airport or Tinsukia Railway Station for the onward destination.
