Assam Wildlife Tour
This Wildlife Tour covers Kaziranga National Park for 4 Days. Explore all the Forest Ranges with local villages and other attractions close by. Covering a core area of 430 sq km it’s a Wildlife hotspot of the North-eastern part of India.
Destinations to cover : Guwahati- Kaziranga National Park–Guwahati
Day 01:Arrive in Guwahati and Drive to Kaziranga NP, 6 Hours drive
Our representative will welcome you at the Guwahati International Airport and start your journey to Kaziranga National Park, a 4-5 Hours Drive. Overnight stay in our resort.
Day 02: At Kaziranga NP (Elephant Safari + one Jeep Safari)
Early morning Elephant back safari. Post breakfast; visit a nearby village on foot. Post lunch Jeep safari in Central Range of Kaziranga NP. This forest Range is covered with grasslands and some small wetlands. Overnight stay.
Day 03: At Kaziranga NP (Jungle Trail + Local Village Tour)
Early morning move to Burhapahar Range of Kaziranga NP for Jungle trail. Main attractions: Western Hoolock Gibbon and several species of Birds. Post lunch, nearby Tea gardens on a walk. Overnight stay.
Day 04: At Kaziranga NP (two Jeep Safari)
Morning avail Jeep Safari in the Western Range of Kaziranga NP which is a combination of grassland and wetlands. Afternoon, Jeep Safari in Eastern Range, it’s a combination of Woodland, Wetland and the river Brahmaputra river passes this forest range. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 05: Nearby Kaziranga (Kakochang Water Falls and Deopahar Archeological Site)
Move to Kakochang waterfall which is around 20 km away from Kaziranga circle. It needs a small hike up to this waterfall and falls under the Karbi Anglong district. After this move to Deopahar Archeological site (between 10th and 11th century AD) which is around 40 Km away from Kaziranga Circle. It falls in the Golaghat district, covering an area of around 135 hectares of land consisting of ancient relics, monuments, and Shiva temples with ancient sculptures of various types.
By evening back to the hotel and overnight stay.
Day 06: Kaziranga to Guwahati Airport (6 Hours)
Tour End.
*** Kaziranga National Park has four ranges namely the Eastern Range (Agoratoli ), Central Range (Kohora), Western Range (Bagori) and Burapahar Range which are all unique and has distinct characters to them with the concentration of different flora and fauna in each. We advise our guests to do one elephant safari and at least two jeep safaris.

Travel Tips
When travel to North-East India, guests are requested to follow the below mentioned points for hassle free journey.
- Always carry a small torchlight, umbrella in your bag. If you do journey during summer umbrella is must.
- Bring Sturdy comfortable shoes, Warm jackets during winter and cotton T shirts or shirts during Summer.
- Bring Toiletries, Insect repellent, Sunscreen.
- Note that Star category hotels are generally available mainly in Guwahati, Shillong. The remaining destinations, mainly remote ones, mostly have basic accommodations but neat and clean.
- For a comfort long distance journey, guests are requested to avail transportation by SUV cars such as Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Scorpio, Bolero etc.
- Changing foreign currencies are not mainly problem in Guwahati, Shillong or in some big towns. But maximum destinations do not have this facility so carry a number of Indian cash with you.
For a foreign traveller, always carry your documents such as Visa etc with you anytime.

- Kindly Note: Best time to avail tour in this region is from October to May. From June to September, due to heavy rain, maximum destinations are not suitable to visit.
