Destinations: Manas National Park, Nameri National Park, Eaglenest Wild Life Sanctuary, Kaziranga National Park

Day 01: Guwahati Airport

Our tour representative will welcome you at the Guwahati International Airport and transfer you to Hotel. Visit Deepar Beel (IBA Site) depending on availability of time. Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 02: Guwahati to Manas National Park (5 hours)

Move to Manas National Park and in the afternoon visit a village close by. Located at the foothills of Eastern Himalaya, it derives its name from the river Manas that flows through the park from North to South. The Manas National Park, the world heritage site, the tiger reserve, the Biosphere reserve and also the Elephant reserve it is the only habitat place of endangered species of schedule I like Hispid here, the Bengal florican, the Pigmy hog, Asian roofed turtle and the Golden langur. Overnight in Manas.

Day 03: At Manas National Park

Full-day jeep safari at Manas. Overnight.

Day 04: At Manas National Park

Same as day 3 and also rafting in Manas River. Overnight in Manas.

Day 05: Manas NP to Nameri National Park (6 hours drive)

Move to Nameri NP. Nameri NP is a paradise for Bird watchers. Famous for White Winged Wood Duck, this covers an area of 217 sq km and is home to about 400 species of birds. Here 4 species of Hornbill, Hill Mynas, and Barbets are found. Overnight in Nameri NP.

Day 06: Nameri National Park to Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary (around 6 hours drive)

In the morning move to Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary and reach Lama Camp. Overnight.

Day 07: At Eaglenest WLS

Whole day Birding around Lama Camp and a night stay at Sundarview Camp. Overnight.

Day 08: At Eaglenest WLS

Whole day Birding at Bompu and Sessni. Overnight at Sundarview Camp. Overnight.

Day 09: At Eaglenest WLS

The whole day of Birding near Sundarview and Sessa. Overnight at Sundarview.

Day 10: Eaglenest to Nameri NP

Morning back to Nameri NP. Overnight at Nameri.

Day 11: At Nameri NP

Full-day birding inside the park. Overnight.

Day 12: At Nameri NP

Morning Rafting in the river Jia Bhoroli. Then again Jungle trekking inside the park. Overnight in Nameri NP.

Day 13: Nameri NP to Kaziranga NP (3 hours drive).

Morning move to Kaziranga NP. The evening is free for personal activities.

Day 14: At Kaziranga NP

Early morning Elephant safari at Central Range. Post lunch Jeep safari in Western range. Overnight in Kaziranga NP.

Day 15: At Kaziranga NP

Morning Jeep safari in Central range. Post lunch Jeep safari in Eastern Range.

Day 16: At Kaziranga NP

Morning Jeep safari in Western Range. Post lunch Jeep safari in Eastern Range.

Day 17: Kaziranga NP to Guwahati ( 5 hours)

Morning moves to Guwahati Airport for onward destinations.

Travel Tips

When travel to North-East India, guests are requested to follow the below mentioned points for hassle free journey.

Always carry a small torchlight, umbrella in your bag. If you do journey during summer umbrella is must.
Bring Sturdy comfortable shoes, Warm jackets during winter and cotton T shirts or shirts during Summer.
Bring Toiletries, Insect repellent, Sunscreen.
Note that Star category hotels are generally available mainly in Guwahati, Shillong. The remaining destinations, mainly remote ones, mostly have basic accommodations but neat and clean.
For a comfort long distance journey, guests are requested to avail transportation by SUV cars such as Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Scorpio, Bolero etc.
Changing foreign currencies are not mainly problem in Guwahati, Shillong or in some big towns. But maximum destinations do not have this facility so carry a number of Indian cash with you.

For a foreign traveller, always carry your documents such as Visa etc with you anytime.

Kindly Note: Best time to avail tour in this region is from October to May. From June to September, due to heavy rain, maximum destinations are not suitable to visit.
