Day 01:Arrive Guwahati

Head to Jowai and visit Krang Shuri  Falls

Overnight in Jowai.

Day 02: Jowai to Phe Phe Falls

Phe Phe falls and move to Mawlynnong. Night stay in the cleanest Village of Asia.

Day 03: Mawlynnong Village to Living Root Bridge

In the morning visit Living Root Bridge and move to Cherrapunjee

Day 04: In Cherrapunji

In Cherrapunjee visit Seven Sister Water falls Night stay 

Day 05: In Cherrapunji

In Cherrapunji visit  Dainthlen Waterfalls, Mawsmai Cave, Cascade Water Falls, Thangkharang Park, Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Poin Night stay

Day 06: Move to Shillong

After breakfast move to Shillong. On the way visit Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak, and Laitlum Grand Canyon.  Check into the hotel in the evening and enjoy a brief walk in the  Police Bazaar in the evening. Overnight. 

Day 07: Way to Guwahati

After breakfast visit Wards lake, Cathedral of Mary and stop in Umium lake on the way to Guwahati

Day 08: Way To Guwahati

Ropeway ride over Brahmaputra, local visits( Kalakhetra , Try out Assamese traditional food ) etc. 

Afternoon go for Sunset River Cruise in river Brahmaputra. ( highlight)

Guwahati –night stay

Day 09: Tour End

Depart for Kolkata in the evening by flight

  • Vehicle will be available for commute on all day from airport pick up till airport drop.

Travel Tips

When travel to North-East India, guests are requested to follow the below mentioned points for hassle free journey.

  1. Always carry a small torchlight, umbrella in your bag. If you do journey during summer umbrella is must.
  2. Bring Sturdy comfortable shoes, Warm jackets during winter and cotton T shirts or shirts during Summer.
  3. Bring Toiletries, Insect repellent, Sunscreen.
  4. Note that Star category hotels are generally available mainly in Guwahati, Shillong. The remaining destinations, mainly remote ones, mostly have basic accommodations but neat and clean.
  5. For a comfort long distance journey, guests are requested to avail transportation by SUV cars such as Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo, Scorpio, Bolero etc.
  6. Changing foreign currencies are not mainly problem in Guwahati, Shillong or in some big towns. But maximum destinations do not have this facility so carry a number of Indian cash with you.

For  a foreign traveller, always carry your documents such as Visa etc with you anytime.
